We all saw the Swell Season tonight @ the WIltern. Our tickets were 38 dollars each, but keep in mind that our seats were at the TOP of balcony. There's 2 separate sections of the "balcony section" at the Wiltern and we were at the very tip top, the nose bleeder seats. My eyes hurt from squinting all night, but I would rather have the crappy nose bleeder seats, than to pay 300 dollars for the floor seats. Anyways, it was a successful, and a eventful night. We were a tad late to the show, so we missed intermission, oh well. Opening bands always make me anxious for the real act, so I never fully appreciate their "talents."
I love the Swell Season so much now. I was looking around the venue as they were about to preform, and I was totally excited because the show was sold out, how cool is that? I just thought that it was inspiring that they started with really nothing, and winded singing on the Grammys, and now people are paying 300 dollars a piece to see them! Crazy!
Good times, and good night.
